Karl Engstrom – CEO
Karl Engstrom founded Terra Imaging with a desire to bring geospatial, 3D simulation technology to the gaming, motion picture and entertainment industries. A recognized leader in the fields of: satellite remote sensing, photogrammetry, LiDAR and 3D stereo mapping technologies; during the late 90’s early 2000’s, Engstrom was part of a team responsible for the creation of an early stage, mobile, 3D simulation and 3D combat visualization engine, developed within the design studios of 3D Pipeline – La Jolla, CA. Previously, Engstrom built and led a team of geospatial experts as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer for Pacific GIS, a geospatial software firm launched within the GIS and Remote Sensing research labs of UCSB. As Founder and CEO of Terra Imaging, Engstrom has forged successful, long term partnerships with Microsoft Bing Maps, Google Earth, EA Sports and the PGA Tour. Engstrom attended the University Of California, Santa Barbara with graduate research in the fields of Oceanography and Geographic Information Systems.

Gerhard Renner – CFO
Chief Financial Officer for Terra Imaging, Gerhard Renner is an expert at managing growth and finance of early stage companies. Gerhard’s early career included work at several leading California law firms, where he structured venture capital and private equity transactions; as well as working in Ernst & Young’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. As principal advisor to Los Angeles based venture capital firm, Core Capital, he successfully developed Genetic Biotechnology Ventures, a venture capital fund commercializing biotech innovations and Academic Synergies Company, a state of the art analytical testing laboratory for the University of Southern California’s School of Pharmacy. Gerhard co-founded Airborne 1 Corporation (acquired by Geo Digital, 2005), an industry leading geospatial mapping firm named among the 500 fastest growing privately held U.S. companies in 2003 and 2004 by Inc. Magazine. Renner received his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California, and has been a member of the California Bar Association since 2003. Ken Dixon – COO
Chief Operations Officer for Terra Imaging, Ken Dixon was the Executive Vice President of MIR3 where he was responsible for growing the company’s revenues from under $1M to greater than $20M in four years. Prior to that he was the President and CEO of Satellite Security Systems a GIS company focused on asset tracking and took the company public before exiting. Prior to these, Mr. Dixon was a chief executive in numerous companies ensuring their growth in technology and sales. Mr. Dixon was the Deputy Program Manager for GPS and holds a MSEE from Naval Post Graduate School.

Dave Lorenzini – CMO
Chief Marketing and Strategic Officer for Terra Imaging, Dave Lorenzini is an action-oriented, entrepreneurial strategist, with a proven track record for building successful businesses that change the way people look at the world. Through distinguished service at the world’s leading satellite imagery and geospatial firms, such as Spot Image, Space Imaging (acquired by GeoEye) and AirPhotoUSA (acquired by Digital Globe) he generated significant revenue and long term value in nascent and complex markets. As Director at a small startup Keyhole, he was instrumental in the creation, development, and popularization of the first global visualization system, online today as Google Earth and used by over 700 million people worldwide. Driven to build purposeful and profitable companies at scale, he combines unparalleled vision, technology and business acumen with the tireless tenacity required to succeed.
